Roman Gonzales is a bandleader, trumpeter, composer and teacher based in Boston, Massachusettes. Hailing from New Mexico, his musical tutelage began at age 12 when he began playing the trumpet. Primarily self taught, he rose through the ranks of state and national competitions, in 2015 he would move to Las Cruces to begin college. While there, he would begin developing the concept of 3rd Degree music, in a bid to take the concept further he would audition and be accepted into Berklee College of Music in 2017 and would start the band shortly thereafter. He is currently gigging and recording in the Boston area.

Elijah Haynes is an alto saxophonist from the Bronx, New York. He began playing the saxophone in the fourth grade and would play throughout middle and high school in classroom ensembles. Eventually taking classes outside of school at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, where he would become a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra. Elijah uses Paul Desmond as an influence in his loving and smooth tone, finding his center in the music he loves dearly.

Alex Golden is a tenor saxophonist from Mission Viejo, CA . He fell in love with the Sax in middle school and has continued to explore its sound, with Wayne Shorter as a primary influence. After being accepted to Berklee College of Music in 2017, he would start his own group project known as Groundwater, releasing their first album and later finding a tenure with The Odyssey in 2019.
Masha J. Davey
Masha J. Davey's sound is rooted in her New Orleans Black-American musical upbringing. Her love of the "deep-pocket" rhythmic fusion of Afro-Caribbean and funk genres is dispersed with the melodic soul of the Blues. Masha seeks to unveil the truth and welcomes all audiences into her world with every note she plays whether it be on the piano, organ, or synth.
Eric Wesling is a guitarist from San Diego, CA. He began playing at age 10, and hasn’t put it down since. He was introduced to Jazz when he joined a group at his high school called the Preservationists. With them, Eric had the opportunity to perform and record an album with Wendell Brunious in New Orleans, and in addition, go on a trip to Japan, San Diego’s sister city. After attending the 2016 Berklee Guitar Sessions, Eric was awarded a scholarship to attend Berklee, where he has been studying performance for the last two years. Although primarily versed in the Jazz idiom, Eric frequently dives into blues, rock, funk, soul and fusion as well
Jared Devino began playing bass at six years old and has been chasing his passion for music ever since. He's played over 100 live shows from Radio City to the Whiskey a gogo and recorded an EP produced by Aaron Sterling by the age of 14. With a strong foundation in rock he continues to diversify his playing ability while studying at Berklee College of Music.
John Keyes, 20, is a drummer from Massachusetts primarily performing on the east coast. He currently has tenure with multiple artists, including Roman G and The Odyssey. With a background in fusion and pop, Keyes hopes to blend the 2 genres as best as he can with a new age sound and style.
